We chose this year’s venue as a small gesture of solidarity with City College of San Francisco and the 90,000 students who depend on it. Many are low-income, queer, people of color, immigrants, seniors, English language learners, disabled, ex-offenders, or military veterans. City College has served our community faithfully for seventy-nine years. We cannot imagine a San Francisco without it and are proud to continue to stand by our college.
Join us on the evening of August 7th as we proudly honor our City College champions:
along with our outstanding 2014 Harvey Milk Club Honorees
Hank Wilson Activist Award: Housing Rights Committee & Anti-Eviction Mapping Project
Bill Kraus HIV/AIDS Activism Award: Tita Aida

Harvey Milk's 84th Birthday Party: Let's Make History Again.
Harvey Milk represented us. He believed in LGBT leadership and the radical idea that LGBT people should be elected and hold public office. He lived and died fighting for that dream.
Harvey’s election to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1977 made history and paved the way for so many LGBT elected leaders since. From Harry Britt to Carole Migden, from Tom Ammiano to David Campos, Harvey’s legacy lives on in San Francisco’s LGBT leadership.
This June, we have the chance to make LBGT history again by electing David Campos to represent San Francisco in the State Assembly.
Join the Harvey Milk LGBT Democratic Club, former State Senator Carole Migden, State Assemblymember Tom Ammiano, and Supervisor David Campos for a celebration of Harvey’s life on what would be his 84th birthday.
Featuring:
*Harvey Milk-shakes prepared at the bar*
*50/50 raffle prize*
*Birthday cake and cupcakes*
*Harvey Milk Club t-shirts for sale*
*Live DJ and a special performance*
Short speaking program at 7pm.
