General Membership Meeting: Justice for Banko Brown Town Hall
The Harvey Milk LGBTQ Democratic Club strongly condemns the tragic killing of Banko Brown and expresses deep concern and loss of confidence in District Attorney Brooke Jenkins' decision not to file charges against the security guard responsible for Brown's death.

Surveillance footage and detailed reports released today have shed light on the circumstances leading up to Banko Brown's untimely death. The altercation between the security guard, Michael Earl-Wayne Anthony, and Banko Brown escalated quickly, ultimately resulting in Brown being fatally shot. The evidence, including witness accounts and video footage, presents a complex and distressing picture of the events that unfolded.

We firmly believe that the decision not to file charges against Michael Earl-Wayne Anthony raises serious concerns about accountability and the pursuit of justice. The Harvey Milk LGBTQ Democratic Club stands with Banko Brown's family, friends, and community in their demand for a thorough investigation and fair legal proceedings.

The panel discussion will feature esteemed panelists who will share their expertise, insights, and perspectives on the killing of Banko Brown and its wider implications.
