A presentation on the significance of Sullivan's Funeral Home and on the importance of LGBT historic preservation and place-based history, an overview of landmarking as a strategy, and a discussion of preservation and place-based history purposes and strategies that might produce local public policy proposals — including innovative ideas that step outside the existing landmarking regimes.
